Crown Princess Mary participates in the festivities of Queen Margrethe's 75th birthday on April 8th 2015
On April 8, 2015, Crown Princess Mary, along with the other members of the Danish Royal House, participated in the festivities celebrating Her Majesty Queen Margrethe's 75th birthday. Our co-founder Heaven recently identified the cream colored dress, by Paule Ka, that The Crown Princess wore for the the luncheon.
Her Majesty and Prince Henrik were taken on a carriage ride through Aarhus, Denmark. The celebrations then kicked off at Aarhus City Hall with a birthday lunch reception for Her Majesty. Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik, Crown Princess Mary, Crown Prince Frederik, Prince Joachim, and Princess Marie were all in attendance. They arrived on a red carpet, with the Crown Princess receiving a bouquet of flowers upon her arrival. The whole group made an appearance on the balcony of City Hall after lunch. You can see the Paule Ka dress in the image above.
Photos can be seen at this link from the festivities.
Aarhus Music School also performed for the Danish royals, and the town's mayor gave a speech before presenting Her Majesty with a birthday gift from the city.
That evening Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie, Prince Nikolai, and Prince Felix attended a concert in honor of Margrethe's birthday, alongside an array of guests. The concert was organized by The Concert Hall and TV 2 and held at the Concert Hall Aarhus.
