On 2nd August 2017, Princess Sofia attended a conference on sustainability called A Sustainable Tomorrow in Bastad. The conference, organised by Border Meetings, invites people to come together to discuss the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. One of the conference’s key partners is Project Playground and so the charity hosted a dinner in the evening after the conference, attended by their Honorary Chairman Princess Sofia. 

Princess Sofia arrived alongside her Project Playground co-founder Frida Vesterberg. The two close friends both wore pieces by Swedish designer By Malina. Despite being heavily pregnant, Sofia looked elegant and effortless in the pale blue jersey dress which features a distinctive layered top.
