Princess Marie in Armani in 2014 trip to New York
Back in September 2014, Princess Marie of Denmark traveled to the United States - New York City to be specific. While there, she attended an international conference on autism and opened the LEGO store on 5th Avenue. LEGO is a Danish company so it was fitting that a Danish princess opens the new flagship store.
On her last day in New York, September 26, 2014, Marie was on 5th Avenue to open the new LEGO store. For this occasion, the Princess wore a navy Emporio Armani dress with matching navy heels. The dress was short-sleeved and v-necked. She also kept her jewelery simple with a pair of earrings and a brooch on her right shoulder. Marie toured the store, mingled with guests, spoke to and played with the children invited to the opening and cut the red ribbon, with a pair of giant LEGO scissors, to officially open the store.
Marie was impressed by one child who made the American and Danish flags out of LEGOs. She went on to spend an hour with the children in the store.
