Three times the charm: Catherine's pink Mulberry coat
Three times the charm! The Duchess of Cambridge has made her third appearance in her £1500 hot pink Mulberry coat. The latest appearance was on January 16, 2018, when she and the Duke of Cambridge visited Coventry Cathedral and the Coventry University Campus to open their new £59m Science and Health Building. She also wore a pair of pale pink Kiki McDonald earrings on this outing with her black Tod's pumps and black Cornelia James Beatrice gloves.
The couple met staff and volunteers, as well as those out on the street who waited in the cold to see Their Royal Highnesses. The visit to the cathedral and university were part of a day of engagements in Coventry. They also had an event at the Positive Youth Foundation where they were able to watch a performance. The first time we saw Catherine in this coat by one of her favorite British brands was in New York City in 2014 while visiting the 9/11 Memorial. The memorial is located where the Twin Towers once stood before the tragic terror attack in 2001 that killed almost 3,000. This was during the early months of her pregnancy with Princess Charlotte.
On this occasion, she was wearing her black Seraphine "Vanessa" dress underneath with her Episode "Angel" pumps. For jewelry, she accessorized with her long, gold Cartier necklace and the Kiki McDonough green amethyst earrings
We saw the gorgeous coat once more while she was carrying Charlotte - on her last official engagement before maternity leave. On its second appearance, the Duchess also wore her black suede Stuart Wiseman Power heels and Kiki McDonald diamond drop earrings. She also carried a Mulberry "Bayswater style" clutch. In March 2015, she and Prince William were at the Stephen Lawrence Centre in London. There they met with Baroness Lawrence of Clarendon OBE, who created the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust in memory of her late son.
