As the date gets ever closer for the birth of #BabyCambridge3, we thought we would take a look back at the two bespoke dresses the Duchess of Cambridge wore to introduce Prince George and Princess Charlotte to the world.

Prince George was born on July 22, 2013, in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in London. He was presented to the world the following day in the arms of his mother. Kate was wearing a blue and white, short-sleeved Jenny Packham dress with nude wedges by Pied a Terre. She was praised at the time for choosing a dress that displayed the post-birth baby bump to show that a woman's body does not snap back into shape the moment she gives birth. Many also saw it as a tribute to Princess Diana - who wore a green polka dot dress to present Prince William in 1982.

William and Kate spoke to the assembled media before departing the hospital where William joked, "He's got more hair than me, thank God!"

George's name was announced on July 24 at George Alexander Louis. 

Princess Charlotte was born on May 2, 2015, at the same hospital as her big brother. She was presented to the media just a few hours after her birth. It was a chilly day as the press took photos of the family before they headed home to Kensington Palace with Kate spotted asking William if Charlotte was getting too cold. 

For the presentation, the Duchess wore a white and yellow floral dress with 3/4 sleeves with a pair of nude heels. It was made by Jenny Packham, as the dress had been for George. It's likely Packham will have made the dress Kate chooses to wear to show her new bundle of joy off some time this week. 

Charlotte's names were announced on May 4 as Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
