Regal Review: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's 2017 Germany Visit - Day 2

On 20 July 2017, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent their second day in Germany.

The couple spent the day in Heidelberg which is a city twinned with Cambridge since 1965. They first visited the  German Cancer Research Centre where they met with researchers and visited the stem cell research lab.

Afterward, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went to the city’s central market square to visit a British-German market with local food. They also made pretzels.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge then took part in a rowing boat race against each other with rowers from Cambridge and Heidelberg. William’s team won.

In the evening, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were back in Berlin where they attended a reception at the Clärchens Ballhaus.

For the first events of the day, The Duchess of Cambridge wore a yellow Jenny Packham dress with her Monsoon wedges and Alexander McQueen clutch. She also wore Oscar de la Renta earrings.

For the rowing boat race, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a blue striped top by German brand Hugo Boss with black jeans and her Superga trainers. She also wore her Ray-Ban sunglasses.

For the evening reception, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a green printed dress by German designer Markus Lupfer with a Jenny Packham belt. She accessorized with her Prada sandals, a Anne Grand Clement clutch and her Soru earrings.
