Luxembourg Grand Ducal family attends Prince Charles's christening
Prince Charles of Luxembourg - the son of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie - was christened today at the Abbey of St. Maurice and St. Maurus of Clervaux in Clervaux, Luxembourg.
Grand Duke Henri, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, Prince Felix, Princess Claire, Princess Amalia, Prince Liam, Prince Louis, and Prince Sébastien attended the christening.
Prince Charles’s godparents were announced to be Prince Louis - Guillaume’s brother - and Countess Gaëlle de Lannoy - Stéphanie’s sister.
After the ceremony - conducted by Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich, Archbishop of Luxembourg- the Grand Ducal family posed for a socially distanced group photo to celebrate the christening.
Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie wore a new Paule Ka saffron dress with her Sergio Rossi white peep-toe pumps.
Prince Charles wore the family’s heirloom christening gown that was also worn by his grandfather, Grand Duke Henri.
Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore a white suit with a pink top, a Giorgio Armani embroidered clutch and pink Prada pumps.
Princess Claire wore a yellow floral printed dress by Zimmerman with her Aquazzura blue satin mules.
Princess Amalia wore a yellow dress by Jacadi with pink sandals from the French brand. Her brother Prince Liam wore Jacadi sneakers as well.
