Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visit Haslev

Today, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visited Haslev to attend celebrations marking the town’s 150th anniversary as a station town. The celebrations were supposed to take place last year but had to be postponed because of the pandemic.

The railway came to Haslev in October 1870 and becoming a station town started a significant development for the town. Crown Prince Frederik unveiled a plaque marking the anniversary.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary then went to the Gisselfeld Kloster's forest where they visited a 45-meter high forest tower.

At the top of the tower, there is a viewing platform located 140 meters above sea level and where there are views of forest and fields. The tower has become a popular tourist attraction in recent years.

Crown Princess Mary wore her Massimo Dutti reversible coat over a burgundy top and repeated trousers. She also wore new Thierry Lasry (with thanks to @royalfashionpolice).
