Queen Maxima attends last day of G20 Summit in Rome
Today, Queen Maxima attended the last day of the G20 Summit in Rome, Italy as she took part in several meetings in her role of UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development.
She first met with the President of Argentina Alberto Fernandez to discuss mechanisms to strengthen financial inclusion in developing countries post-pandemic.
Afterward, she met with Marcelo Ebard, the Mexican Secretary for Foreign Affairs, to discuss the development of the Bienestar bank network to help financial inclusion.
Queen Maxima also met with the President of the World Bank David Malpass to talk about financial health and future collaborations.
Queen Maxima wore her Claes Iversen suit with her Dinh Van bracelet.
