Dutch Royal Family celebrates Koningsdag 2021 in Eindhoven
Today, King Willem-Alexander celebrated his 54th birthday! Koningsdag is usually celebrated in a Dutch city and this year it was in Eindhoven, even though most of the celebrations were virtual due to the pandemic.
They first attended a special TV broadcast where they played in a quiz about the Brainport-Eindhoven region against four other families.
Afterward, the family watched a free runner show on a 3 D-printed “Minecraft” course. The 3 Princesses then visited the Oranje Room where they talked to other young people about music and identity. They also raced against each other in three e-race simulators.
In the afternoon, the family attended the rehearsals of the evening concert by The Streamers that would conclude the Koningsdag festivities and they met with the technical staff.
For the day events, Queen Maxima wore a full Natan outfit with a Fabienne Delvigne hat.
Princess Catharina-Amalia wore a Natan blue top and Natan grey trousers. She repeated a blue coat and accessorized with a clutch and Natan sandals that both belong to her mother. She also wore earrings from the vault.
Princess Alexia wore a new beige outfit by Maje with her Zara black sandals and a bag that belongs to her mother.
Princess Ariane wore a Natan blue dress with her Castaner wedges and a Marina Raphael bag. Her brown coat also belongs to her mother.
For the concert, Queen Maxima wore her Elie Saab jumpsuit with a Natan black cape and black boots. She also wore a new necklace by Royal Asscher (with thanks to ModeKoninginMaxima).
Princess Catharina-Amalia wore a Zara gold knit top with beige trousers and a Massimo Dutti coat. She carried a Marina Raphael clutch and wore Jimmy Choo pumps that belong to her mother.
Princess Alexia wore an H&M black top with Zara plaid leggings and her Nike sneakers.
Princess Ariane wore a white shirt and black trousers with Nike sneakers. When she was leaving, she was pictured wearing a Boohoo varsity jacket.
