Queen Maxima makes working visit to the Rotterdam-Rijnmond region and meets Humanitas
Today, Queen Maxima paid a working visit to the Rotterdam-Rijnmond region as a member of the Netherlands Entrepreneurship Committee to discuss developments in the labor market.
During the visit, Queen Maxima met with several small companies to hear about how they had been impacted by the pandemic and how regional partners supported them during this difficult time.
Then, she met administrators of the municipality of Rotterdam and regional educational institutions to learn more about the Rotterdam Learning Work Agreements. The agreements aim to work together on a future-proof labor market and a good balance between supply and demand for work in the region.
In the afternoon, Queen Maxima digitally met with volunteers from the Humanitas association. Humanitas is a national volunteer organization founded 75 years ago for people in need of support.
Queen Maxima wore her Antik Batik embroidered dress with her Teresa Helbig black belt and Gianvito Rossi ‘Laura’ black leather boots. She also wore new bracelets that could be birthday gifts. One of those bracelets is by Dinh Van (with thanks to JAusten).
