Welcome to this week’s Royal Recap where we’ll take a look at the events we weren’t able to cover fully this week!
On Monday, Queen Maxima delivered an online speech at the opening session of the financial literacy project of the European Commission (EC) and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Queen Maxima is UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development.
On Tuesday, ABC News aired an interview with Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, discussing marrying into a royal family and her work as Grand Duchess.
She wore her Alexander McQueen pink brocade jacket for this interview.
On Tuesday, Queen Mathilde visited the "The World of Clovis. Merovingian routes” exhibition at the Royal Museum of Mariemont Morlanwelz.
She wore her Gabriela Hearst ‘Josefina’ dress.
On Thursday, Queen Mathilde attended a virtual showing of the one-man show ‘Pizza Economie’ which is a show aimed at high school students to teach them more about sustainable economic models.
Afterward, Queen Mathilde met with representatives from the association ‘Les MOTs de TOM’ which offers support to parents of children suffering from bullying and to teachers in their efforts to fight bullying at school.
She wore a new Giorgio Armani blazer and matching trousers.
On Thursday, Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine paid a digital visit to the Philisa Abafazi Bethu Family Center in Cape Town, South Africa. The center is one of several that receive support from the World Childhood Foundation.
On Friday, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie attended the christening of the AES-5 locomotive of the Railway Museum and Tourism Association (AMTF), which now bears the name "Stéphanie".
She wore a white blouse with her Boden green wide-leg trousers.
We also wish Princess Charlotte a very happy 6th birthday today! Kensington Palace shared this new photo of Charlotte taken this weekend in Norfolk by her mother.
