Queen Letizia celebrates Faculty of Information Sciences' 50th Anniversary
Today, Queen Letizia attended the event marking the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Information Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), a pioneering Faculty and reference in university training in Communication in Spain since 1971.
Queen Letizia first awarded diplomas to seven illustrious UCM alumni such as Fernando León de Aranoa, screenwriter, film director, and winner of 6 Goya awards, and Mónica Moro, creative general director of the advertising agency McCann Spain.
Afterward, Queen Letizia - who completed her journalism degree at UCM - was named UCM Student of honor and received her own alumni diploma before making a short speech.
Queen Letizia then toured the exhibition marking the 50th anniversary as well as an exhibition of photojournalist Marisa Flórez’s work. She also signed the guest book and met with staff and students.
Queen Letizia wore her Hugo Boss denim dress with a red belt and her Magrit pumps. She also wore gold hoop earrings and her Karen Hallam gold ring.
