Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visit Gävleborg County
Today, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Gävleborg County to learn more about their pandemic response.
The Crown Princess couple first received an overview of the situation in the county by the Governor at Gävle Castle.
Afterward, they met with the Gävleborg Regional Board to hear more about how the pandemic has affected the county's inhabitants in terms of health care.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel also met William, a young patient who uses an app in his everyday life to record heart rate and blood pressure, fill in the effect of medication, report any side effects, and communicate with healthcare professionals.
The Crown Princess couple then visited the University of Gävle to meet researchers who studied how working from home could be used in the future and the lessons learned from the pandemic. They also met students to discuss how the pandemic has affected their studies.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel also visited Sweden's oldest remaining ax factory, Wetterling's ax factory in Storvik. During their tour of the factory, they heard more about the pandemic had a positive impact on their production as people got more interested in nature and outdoor activities during lockdowns.
Crown Princess Victoria wore a new H&M Studio pantsuit with her Camilla Thulin printed blouse. She paired the outfit with her af Klingberg blue ankle boots and her Saint Laurent bag. She also wore ufo hoop earrings and her usual stack of bracelets.
