The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visit Foundling Museum

Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Foundling Museum of which the Duchess of Cambridge is patron. The Foundling Museum works with artists to develop learning programs that are meaningful for young people.

The visit focused on the care sector as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge first took part in a roundtable discussion with experts and stakeholders to discuss the landscape of care across the UK.

They also met with author and poet Lemn Sissay, former track and field athlete Kriss Akabusi, and writer Allan Jenkins to hear about their own stories of growing up in care.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also talked to a group of care leavers to hear about the support and training they are receiving through the Foundling Museum’s Tracing Our Tales program. The program aims to equip care-experienced young adults with the skills to deliver workshops at the Museum for family groups.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a repeated coat with a turtleneck we believe it from Zara and her Jigsaw trousers. She also wore her Emmy London pumps, new Accessorize earrings (with thanks to Emily), and her Amaia mask.
