The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visit Lancashire
Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended several events in Lancashire for their first away day of the year.
They first visited the Clitheroe Community Hospital to learn about the challenges the rural health providers had to face during the pandemic.
As they are Patrons of NHS Charities Together, the visit also highlighted how the NHS charities have supported the mental health of workers on the frontline.
The couple also met Aflie, a puppy who joined the hospital as a therapy dog.
Afterward, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Church on the Street in Burnley which supports homeless people and provides addiction and mental health supports as well as hot showers and food among other services.
They met Pastor Mick who founded Church on the Street to hear about his story. Mick was involved in drug dealing before starting a recovery process and studying theology. He now helps those in need as much as he can.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore her Massimo Dutti coat with an Iris & Ink top and matching skirt (with thanks to Christine). She also wore her Missoma earrings with new suede boots which could be by Saint Laurent (with thanks to Mallory for the suggestion).
