Dutch State Visit to Sweden - Day 2

On Wednesday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima spent their second day in Sweden as they are on a three-day state visit to the country.

King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, King Carl Gustaf, and Queen Silvia first attended a business roundtable focusing on how to build a sustainable, resilient, and economically stronger Europe with Dutch and Swedish CEOs.

Afterward, both Royal Couples visited Stockholm Exergi and the Värtaverket to learn more about the company's plans to build Europe's first large-scale negative emissions plant, which means that you store carbon dioxide and do not release it into the atmosphere.

King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Maxima then visited the SciLifeLab – Science for Life Laboratory at Karolinska Institutet. Scilifelab is a Swedish national scientific center for large-scale research in life sciences, medicine, and the environment.
