On Thursday, the Congress of the International Association of Lawyers hosted a Special Session on Sexual Violence in Conflict Zones. A video message from Grand Duchess Maria Teresa was shared during the event.

In her speech, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa said: “I can only rejoice to see gathered here so many eminent personalities, from all walks of life, so many jurists and representatives of bars throughout the world because there is only one way to put an end to this scourge: to denounce to overcome impunity and obtain reparation and justice because these atrocities continue day after day to destroy lives, families, and entire societies.”
