Dutch State Visit to Greece - Day 3
On Wednesday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima spent their third day in Greece, attending events in Thessaloniki.
They first attended an economic session on sustainability and agriculture during which King Willem-Alexander gave a speech.
Afterward, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited several landmarks of the city such as the Roman Agora, the Saint Dimitrios Church, and the Ottoman Bey Hammam to learn more about the multifaceted history of the city.
The Royal Couple then met with the Mayor of Thessaloniki Konstantinos Zervas at the Aristotelous Square. The Mayor told them about the current development of Thessaloniki into a sustainable and liveable city before they all cycled to the White Tower.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima ended their State Visit at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki where they heard more about the Dutch Embassy’s'Entrepreneurial University' initiative which encourages Dutch and Greek Universities to share knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship education and innovation.
Queen Maxima wore a black blazer with a white shirt and checked trousers. She paired the outfit with her Salvatore Ferragamo pumps, her Chanel bag, and her Cartier sunglasses.
