On Tuesday, King Willem-Alexander presented the 2022 Erasmus Prize to Israeli writer David Grossman. Queen Maxima and Princess Beatrix also attended the event.

The Erasmus Prize is awarded annually to a person or institution that has made an important contribution in the fields of humanities, social sciences and arts within the framework of Europe's cultural traditions
