The British Royal Family attends Commonwealth Day Service

Today, members of the Royal Family attended the annual Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey in London. The Queen couldn’t attend because of mobility issues but she shared the following message before the service.

The Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and Princess Alexandra attended the service.

The Commonwealth Day multi-faith service is one of the many events celebrating Commonwealth Day across Commonwealth countries. The service featured performances by Mica Paris, Members of the Whānau London Voices, Emeli Sandé, and the London African Gospel Choir.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a new Catherine Walker coat with her Jimmy Choo clutch and her Rupert Sanderson pumps. She also wore a Sean Barrett hat with sapphire and diamond jewels. She had already worn these jewels when she and the Duke of Cambridge met with President Zelensky and the First Lady of Ukraine in 2020.
