Today, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the Miguel de Cervantes 2021 Award Ceremony at the University of Alcalá de Henares.

The 2021 "Miguel de Cervantes" Prize for Literature in the Spanish Language was awarded to Uruguayan writer Cristina Peri Rossi for her creative work with Spanish and Latin American writers.
