On Thursday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge undertook a day of engagements in Cambridgeshire. The day also marked the release of their first official joint portrait.

The portrait was commissioned by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund and was made by Jamie Coreth. The portrait is currently exposed at the Fitzwilliam Museum but it will be loaned to the National Portrait Gallery for its reopening in 2023. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Fitzwilliam Museum to see the portrait.

Afterward, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited East Anglia's Children's Hospices in Milton as the Duchess of Cambridge is Patron of EACH.

The couple then visited the homeless charity Jimmy’s where they met with residents in their modular homes to hear about how the charity helped them.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge ended their day at the first-ever Cambridgeshire County Day at the July Racecourse. They visited some of the stalls, took part in activities, and met members of the public.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a new blue coat with her LK Bennett dress, Emmy pumps & clutch, repeated earrings, and her Amaia face mask.

In the portrait, the Duchess of Cambridge is wearing her The Vampire’s Wife dress with Manolo Blahnik pumps. She is also wearing the Cambridge's Pearl Pendant Brooch, Diana's Collingwood Pearl earrings, and Diana’s triple-strand bracelet.
