On Tuesday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima spent their second day in Vienna as part of their three-day state visit to Austria.

The day started with a visit to Kulturhaus Brotfabrik where the Royal Couple learned more about the “community cooking” project and met Ukrainian refugees.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima then visited Sonnwendviertel, a residential area that focuses on future-proof construction and increasing the quality of life in the neighborhood.

The Royal Couple traveled back to the city center by tram before undertaking a short walk through the city where they learned about various aspects of Viennese and Austrian culture and the historical ties between the Netherlands and Austria.

During the walk, they also visited the National Library, a coffee house, and a riding school.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima then attended a lunch hosted by the Federal Chancellor of Austria.

In the evening, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima hosted a concert by the Netherlands Chamber Choir to thank the Presidential Couple for their hospitality.

During the concert, the Choir performed the world premiere of 'Van Gogh in Me' in the Konzerthaus, in which artworks by Vincent van Gogh and Gustav Klimt come to life to music by their contemporaries.

Queen Maxima first wore a Natan dress with her Salvatore Ferragamo pumps, her Sophie Habsburg clutch, and her Chanel sunglasses.

In the evening, Queen Maxima wore her Jan Taminiau gown with her Gianvito Rossi sandals and her Gianvito Rossi clutch.
