The Earl and Countess of Wessex's visit to Gibraltar - Day 2
On Wednesday, the Earl and Countess of Wessex spent their second day in Gibraltar to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The couple first visited the Moorish Castle Estate where they met local residents.
While the Earl of Wessex visited the newly-restored Northern Defences, the Countess of Wessex visited mental health charity The Clubhouse to learn more about their work to support the local community.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex then did a walkabout on Main Street to meet as many local residents as possible before meeting Duke of Edinburgh International Gold Award Holders.
Afterward, the Countess of Wessex visited the Special Olympics where she took part in several sports activities.
As President of Girlguiding UK, the Countess of Wessex met with Girl Guides and Scouts at Gibraltar’s Scouts Retreat Centre.
She also visited Sandy Bay to learn more about The Adapted Surfing Project which offers surfboarding and water activities for disabled young people.
In the evening, the Earl and Countess of Wessex attended The Queen’s Birthday Reception and a Sunset Ceremony.
The Countess of Wessex first wore a ME + EM dress (with thanks to DataDuchess) with her Eleventy belt, wedges, and her Sophie Habsburg bag. She paired the outfit with her Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses, her Felt bracelet, and her Patek Philippe watch.
The Countess of Wessex then changed into her Suzannah dress with her Prada pumps and Sophie Habsburg clutch.
The Countess of Wessex also wore a new Emilia Wickstead dress (with thanks to DataDuchess) with her Prada pumps and Sophie Habsburg bag.
For the water activities, the Countess of Wessex wore a charity t-shirt for the BowelBabe Fund with shorts and repeated loafers with the same jewels as earlier.
In the evening, the Countess of Wessex wore a new Alexander McQueen dress with her Chloé sandals. She paired the outfit with Graff earrings, her Felt bracelet, and her Patek Philippe watch.
