On Friday, Princess Marie marked World AIDS Day in Copenhagen as Patron of AIDS-Fondet. She took part in the annual World AIDS Day event where she helped light candles in memory of those who have lost their lives due to HIV and AIDS in Denmark.

Afterward, Princess Marie attended the annual Christmas concert hosted by AIDS Fondet at Trinitatis Church.
