King Felipe and Queen Letizia celebrate the Bicentennial of the Ateneo de Madrid
On Tuesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the event commemorating the Bicentennial of the Ateneo de Madrid.
In his speech, King Felipe said: “The Ateneo de Madrid has always been the vanguard of culture and science, a refuge for free thought, a space for debate and intellectual meeting, an emblem of its time. And here we happily meet, after the upheaval caused by the pandemic, to extol its great legacy and celebrate its Bicentennial ”.
After the ceremony, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited the "Two centuries looking for light" exhibition before meeting with staff of the Ateneo de Madrid and the people who took part in the official ceremony.
Queen Letizia wore her Galcon Studio dress with her Hugo Boss belt, her Carolina Herrera pumps, and her Mauska bag. She paired the outfit with her Carolina Herrera earrings and her Coreterno ring.
