Princess Marie attends SIKON Conference in Odense
On Monday, Princess Marie attended the SIKON Conference in Odense as Patron of the Danish Association for Autism. The theme of this year’s conference is “Senses”.
In her opening speech, Princess Marie said: “No two autistics are the same. And this also applies to their way of seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and feeling - which can be completely different from each other. That's why it's worth remembering the well-known saying in the autism community, also when it comes to senses: When you've met one autistic person, you've met one autistic person.”
Princess Marie also met with businesses trying to make life easier for people with autism and she had the opportunity to try a special ball chair, which is a sensory-stimulating aid for children and adults with motor and mental disorders. She also presented the Autism Prize 2023 to autism expert Dorthe Hölck.
Princess Marie wore her Emporio Armani suit with her Zara ankle boots and a Tara Jarmon bag. She also wore her Mauboussin white gold and sapphire earrings.
