In Texel, they first visited the Kaap Skil Museum where they toured the collection of objects found in a shipwreck, the Palmhoutwreck, off the coast of Texel. They also visited the sheep farm De Waddel where they talked to entrepreneurs about future-proof and climate-adaptive entrepreneurship and development.

Afterward, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima visited Beach Pavilion Paal 9 where they met helpers working on the beach as well as representatives of Texel Plastic Vrij, a non-profit organization that organizes clean-up campaigns. They also talked to young people about Texel association life and its significance for the community.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima then traveled to Vlieland where they first visited De Jutter, a center for youth development on the island. They also visited the care villa De Ton in Boswijk which allows the elderly and those in need to continue living on Vlieland for the rest of their lives without having to move to the mainland to receive the right care.

The Royal Couple then unveiled a memorial stone at Tromp's Huys to celebrate their visit. The museum houses a collection about Vlieland's maritime past.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima ended the day on Terschelling where they met with volunteers from the Royal Dutch Rescue Company to hear about their rescue operations and the impact of their work.

In the evening, the Royal Couple attended the performance "Sâlt" by the theater company Tryater. The performance will also be shown at the Oerol festival in June. the Oerol festival is one of the largest theater events in Europe.
