This week, following her two-day visit to Baghdad, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited the Kurdistan Region.

She first met with Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani in Erbil to discuss her work with survivors of conflict-related sexual violence.

The Duchess of Edinburgh also met with Dr. Khanzad Ahmad, the Secretary General of Kurdistan’s High Council for Women and Development.

Afterward, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited the Erbil Citadel, a UNESCO-designated world heritage site.

She then attended a reception at the British Consulate-General in Erbil.

In the evening, the Duchess of Edinburg met with the Vice Governor of Duhok to discuss the historical relations between the Kurdish people and the British people.

The next day, the Duchess of Edinburgh attended events in Duhok visiting Qadia Camp to meet Yazidi survivors of conflict related sexual violence and meeting female Shabak and Turkman survivors of CRSV.

Back in Erbil, the Duchess of Edinburgh met again with officials from the Kurdistan Region who bid her farewell.

The Duchess of Edinburgh first wore her Beulah London dress with her Prada pumps, her Sophie Habsburg clutch, and her Felt bracelet.

The Duchess of Edinburgh then wore her ME and EM dress with her Penelope Chilvers wedges and a Sophie Habsburg bag.

For the reception, the Duchess of Edinburgh wore her Zimmermann dress with Penelope Chilvers sandals.

Arriving in Duhok, the Duchess of Edinburgh wore an Etro dress with her Penelope Chilvers wedges and a Sophie Habsburg clutch.

For her last events in Duhok, the Duchess of Edinburgh wore her ME and EM dress.

When bidding goodbye to her hosts in Erbil, the Duchess of Edinburgh wore her Eleventy blazer with her Aross Girl x Soler blouse, blue trousers, and her Penelope Chilvers sandals.
