Swedish State Visit to Estonia - Day 2

On Wednesday, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia spent their second day in Estonia.

King Carl Gustaf first attended the Estonia-Sweden Business Forum before joining Queen Silvia at Gustav Adolf's high school, which was founded by Gustav II Adolf in 1631 and is the oldest high school in Estonia.

Afterward, Queen Silvia and the First Lady visited the Arvo Pärt Centre, where Michael Pärt, Arvo Pärt's son, gave a guided tour. The centre was created to preserve and research the composer's legacy.

Queen Silvia and the First Lady then visited the SOS Children's Village in Keila where they met families from Ukraine. Queen Silvia also planted a tree during her visit.

In the afternoon, the Royal Couple and the Presidential Couple visited the Broken Line Monument where they laid wreaths in honor of those who died when the 'Estonia' ferry sank in 1994 as it was traveling from Tallinn to Stockholm.

Queen Silvia first wore her Georg et Arend outfit with her Loewe bag and her Cartier bracelet. The earrings and the brooch are by Maria Valdma Härm and they were gifts from the Estonian Presidential Couple.
