On Thursday, Crown Princess Victoria opened the Turtle Ark at Nordens Ark. Crown Princess Victoria is Patron of the Park.

The new Turtle Ark is a breeding center where vulnerable turtle species are given a sanctuary and the opportunity to reproduce for future releases.
