Dutch State Visit to Belgium - Day 3

On Thursday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima concluded their three-day state visit to Belgium.

The Dutch Royal Couple and the Belgian Royal Couple first visited Imec in Leuven. Imec is a research center in the field of chip technology. It supports companies in the development of innovative digital applications.

Afterward, they traveled to Antwerp where they did a walkabout on the Grote Markt before meeting with the mayor of Antwerp, Bart de Wever.

In the afternoon, the Royal Couples visited the Port House and spoke with CEOs and participants in the Belgian-Dutch Port Day which was taking place in the port of Antwerp.

King Willem-Alexander and King Philippe then visited the Belgian frigate Louise-Marie while Queen Mathilde and Queen Máxima visited the Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. DeRuyter. Following the visits, a farewell ceremony took place.
