On Sunday, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary helped celebrate Christiansfeld's 250th city anniversary. The city was founded by the Congregation of the Brethren in 1773 with permission from King Christian 7. The community was organized as a Lutheran-evangelical free congregation.

The celebrations started with a celebratory service at the Church of the Brethren which Count Ingolf and Countess Sussie of Rosenborg also attended.

Afterward, the Crown Prince Couple visited the city’s landmarks such as Kirkepladsen and the Gudsageren cemetery. They also visited the jubilee exhibition at Museum Kolding. The city was named a world heritage site by UNESCO in 2015.

Crown Princess Mary wore her Birgit Hallstein dress with her Gianvito Rossi sandals and a repeated clutch. She paired the outfit with her Jane Taylor hat, Ole Lynggaard earrings, and her Julie Sandlau necklace. She also wore her Ole Lynggaard rings with bracelets by Dulong, Ole Lynggaard, and Rebekka Notkin. Crown Princess Mary also debuted a MaRe Gold bracelet (with thanks to RoyalFashionPolice).
