On Thursday, Queen Margrethe was driven from Amalienborg to Christianborg Palace in the Gold Coach, escorted by the Guard Hussar Regiment’s Mounted Squadron.

At Christianborg Palace, she was joined by Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary as she hosted a reception for Officers from the Defence and the Danish Emergency Management Agency, the I., II. and III. ranking classes as well as invited guests of major national organizations and royal patronages.

Queen Margrethe always wears the same gown for these receptions and she now wears a gown that was gifted to her by the Craftsmen's Association in Copenhagen for her Golden Jubilee in 2022. It now replaces the royal blue gown she received more than 25 years ago.

For the receptions on Wednesday, Crown Princess Mary wore her Henrik Hviid gown with her Jimmy Choo pumps and her Quidam clutch. She also wore her Bruun Rasmussen earrings and an Ellen Hunter hair comb (with thanks to Queen Mary Style).
