On Tuesday, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended the opening service of the Church Synod in Uppsala Cathedral.

After the traditional service, a formal opening took place during which the chairman of the Church Synod, Karin Perers, and Archbishop Martin Modéus gave speeches.

Queen Silvia wore her Georg et Arend black and white dress with her Georg et Arend white bolero. She paired the outfit with her Salvatore Ferragamo pumps and her usual Cartier and Engelbert bracelets.
