On Monday, Queen Silvia attended two events with Silviahemmet in När. Silviahemmet was founded in 1996 at the initiative of Queen Silvia and trains employees in care and social care. Queen Silvia first attended the Silviahemmet Foundation's board meeting.

Afterward, Queen Silvia visited the group accommodation Hattstugan, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Hattstugan is a small private group accommodation that offers accommodation for people with cognitive disease.

During her visit, Queen Silvia presented the staff with Silviahemmet’s certificate for good dementia care.
