On Thursday, new official civil portrait of King Frederik and Queen Mary were released by the Danish Royal Court. They were taken by Steen Evald at Frederick VIII's Palace in Amalienborg.

Queen Mary wore the Soeren Le Schmidt dress she wore on King Frederik’s proclamation in January with the scarf detail removed. She also wore her Bruun Rasmussen earrings and her Halberstadt necklace.
