On Wednesday, Queen Sofia hosted audiences at Zarzuela Palace. She first met with representatives of the Association “The Most Beautiful Villages in Spain”. During the audience, she was presented the IV Prize of the Association “in recognition of her life's career in favor of the arts, the most disadvantaged groups and, particularly, for the support she has always given to the Association”.

Afterward, she met with representatives of the International Association of Diplomats in Spain, of which she is the Honorary President. They presented the funds they raised which will be distributed through the Queen Sofia Foundation to charitable organizations.

Queen Sofia wore her Escada blue tweed jacket.
