On Tuesday, Queen Silvia bought the first May Flower of the year, per tradition. Since 1907, the May Flower has been sold to make a difference for children and young people in vulnerable situations and Queen Silvia’s purchase marks the official start of the sale in Sweden.

Later in the day, Queen Silvia joined King Carl Gustaf as he presented medals to Swedish athletes to recognize their accomplishments.

Queen Silvia wore a repeated suit with her Cartier and Engelbert bracelets.
