European Royals attend Paris 2024 Olympic Games - Day 6
On Thursday, several members of European Royal Families attended events of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Queen Letizia first attended the women's 20 km race walk which saw Spanish athlete María Pérez win the Silver Medal. Queen Letizia also met with Spanish athlete Álvaro Martín, bronze medallist in the men’s 20 km race walk.
Afterward, Queen Letizia attended the men's water polo match between Serbia and Spain. Spain won the match 15-11.
Queen Letizia then watched the men tennis’ singles quarter-final match between Tommy Paul and Carlos Alcaraz. Carlos Alcaraz qualified for the semi-final of the tournament.
Queen Letizia also went to Paris La Défense Arena where she watched final of the men's 200-metre backstroke. She met with Hugo González de Oliveira who finished sixth.
Queen Letizia concluded her eventful day with a visit to Casa España which offers a space for Spanish athletes, their families, friends, and fans to celebrate Spain’s achievements.
Queen Mary first watched several of the rowing races, cheering on Danish and Australian athletes.
Queen Mary then attended the Artistic Gymnastics Women's All-Around Final at Bercy Arena.
Queen Mary also watched the women 4 × 200 Metre Freestyle Relay in swimming to cheer on the Australian team. The Australian team won the gold medal and celebrated with Queen Mary.
In the evening, Princess Benedikte attended a reception at the Danish House in Paris held in honor of the Danish Olympic athletes.
Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended the Team Lëtzebuerg evening reception at the Maison du Luxembourg.
Queen Letizia wore her Joma Olympic polo with jeans, her Joma sneakers, and her Joma backpack. She also wore Carolina Herrera sunglasses, her Barbara Goenaga earrings, and her Coreterno ring.
Queen Mary first wore her Polo Ralph Lauren shirt with a Vero Moda cap and her Gucci sunglasses. She also wore her necklaces by Dulong Fine Jewelry and Halberstadt and her Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelets.
In the evening, Queen Mary wore a Massimo Dutti top with her Ganni skirt and her Chloé bag. She wore her Gucci glasses and her Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings with the same necklaces and bracelets as earlier in the day.
Princess Benedikte wore a Dea Kudibal dress with her Aldo bag and her Christian Dior watch.
Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore her Mes Demoiselles dress with Laurence Dacade sandals and Francine Bramli earrings.
