The Duchess of Edinburgh visits Tanzania - Day 3
On Thursday, the Duchess of Edinburgh spent her third day in Tanzania in her role as Global Ambassador of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness. She spent the day in Zanzibar where she first met the President of Zanzibar at State House.
Afterward, the Duchess of Edinburgh then visited Mzambarauni Village to learn more about the efforts of the Ministry of Health, Uniting to Combat NTDs, and Unlimit Health, to combat lymphatic filariasis (LF). She also attended a celebration event to mark the 12th billionth donation by the pharmaceutical organization GSK of Albendazole treatment for lymphatic filariasis.
The Duchess of Edinburgh wore her Soler printed dress with her Jimmy Choo pumps, her MATELIER bag, and her Giulia Barela earrings. She later changed into her Penelope Chilvers wedges.
