On Tuesday, Queen Maxima spent her second day in New York City to attend the UN General Assembly in her role as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development. She first attended the opening session of the General Assembly.

Queen Maxima also met with the Secretary-General António Guterres, Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed, and Courtenay Rattray, Chef de Cabinet of the Secretary-General.

Queen Maxima also attended the United Bank for Africa’s Cocktail Reception.

Queen Maxima wore her Claes Iversen outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Hermes clutch. She also wore her Begum Khan earrings.
