On Tuesday, Queen Mary attended the EliteForsk Awards Ceremony in Copenhagen. The EliteForsk Awards are awarded each year by the Ministry of Education and Research leading researchers in their field with the aim of creating awareness of research in Denmark.

This year, Queen Mary handed out the awards to Professor Andreas Hougaard Laustsen-Kiel, Professor Cecilia Ramlau-Hansen, Professor Ingvild Bode, Professor Albert Schliesser, and Professor Morten Mattrup. The winners received 1,2 million DKK, of which 200.000 DKK is given as a personal honorary award, and 1 million DKK goes to research activities. During the ceremony, Queen Mary also awarded an EliteForsk travel scholarship of 200.000 DKK, which can be used for long-term study in an international research environment to 17 Ph.D. students.

Queen Mary wore her Joseph coat with her The Fold blouse and her Alexander McQueen skirt. She paired the outfit with her Aquazzura boots and her Diane von Furstenberg clutch. She also wore her Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings and her Dulong Fine Jewelry ring.
