On Thursday, December 20, 2017, it was a family affair in London for Her Majesty's annual pre-Christmas Luncheon. Members of the immediate Royal Family and the extended Royal Family were in attendance. This year, however, a new face was seen at the luncheon; Meghan Markle.
It is always a challenge to catch glimpses of the outfits that the royals adorn on this particular day, but us royal watchers and fashion finders caught a glimpse of two; Meghan's and Kate's. For this event let us first start with Meghan. Ms. Markle wore a dress by Self Portrait, it is their 'Nightshade' midi dress, and was IDed by Heaven. She also debuted Birks' Snowflake Large Round Jacket Earrings from the Birks Snowflake Collection
Now onto another favorite royal lady, Duchess Catherine. This will be the Duchess's seventh year attending the large traditional gathering, her first being in 2010 when she was only Kate Middleton. This year the Duchess's outfit was a little challenging to ID, but the keen eyes of royal watchers were up for the challenge.
This year, Kate wore Zara's 'Long Cloth' Cape, a removable fur tippet from Jigsaw which is sold out, what looks to be her Goat 'Eloise' Dress, and her trusty chandelier earrings which have yet to be identified.
These looks were only quick glimpses of what we were to see on Christmas Day when the two ladies attended the Christmas church service at St. Mary Magdalene's Church.
