Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visit Dalarna County
Today, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Dalarna County to learn more about their response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Crown Princess couple first attended a meeting at the Governor’s residence to hear about how the pandemic has affected the business community in the county.
Afterward, they visited Falu Hospital to learn more about the situation in the county and discuss the pandemic with the staff.
After lunch, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Dalarna University where they met representatives of the university to discuss how the pandemic has affected the students.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel then visited the company Falu Rödfärg which owns the Falu Red color which has been used to paint houses in Sweden for centuries. They met with the CEO who told them about the history of the color and how the pandemic has affected his business.
During the visit, the couple also watched a demonstration of how the red color is burned and boiled in the traditional way.
The Crown Princess couple’s last engagement of the day was a visit to the concert hall Magasinet where they watched a rehearsal of the Dala Symphony Orchestra with the duo Good Harvest. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel talked to the performers to hear how the pandemic has affected music life in the county.
Crown Princess Victoria wore a new Busnel coat with a white blouse and black trousers. She paired the outfit with her Gianvito Rossi ankle boots and her Saint Laurent bag. She also wore her Baumgarten di Marco and Maria Nilsdotter necklaces with new Edblad earrings and her Emilio Pucci scarf.
