Qatari State Visit to Spain - Day 1
On Tuesday, the Emir of Qatar and his wife Sheikha Jawaher started their two-day state visit to Spain.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia officially welcomed Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani and Sheikha Jawaher Bint Hamad Bin Suhaim Al Thani at the Royal Palace in Madrid during the traditional welcome ceremony.
King Felipe and the Emir then had a private meeting at Zarzuela Palace while Queen Letizia received Sheikha Jawaher.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia then hosted a private lunch for Sheikh Tamim and Sheikha Jawaher at Zarzuela Palace.
In the evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted a gala dinner at the Royal Palace in honor of the Emir of Qatar and his wife.
For the day events, Queen Letizia wore a new Carolina Herrera dress with new Magrit shoes & clutch. She paired the outfit with her Bulgari earrings and her Karen Hallam ring.
For the gala dinner, Queen Letizia wore a new Gabriela Lage gown (with thanks to Nuria) and her Karen Hallam ring.
