Princess Ingrid Alexandra's 18th Birthday: Government's Celebratory Dinner

Tonight, the Norwegian Government offered a dinner at Deichman Bjørvika to celebrate Princess Ingrid Alexandra’s 18th birthday. The dinner was supposed to take place last January but had to be postponed because of the pandemic.

During the festive event, Princess Ingrid Alexandra made a speech. She said: “I feel very lucky to have grown up in a country where we trust each other, and where we together try to find good solutions. Solutions that enable as many people as possible to have the best possible. This is a principle that it is important that we in Norway uphold. Trust is not created by individuals, politicians, or institutions alone. It is created by all of us - together. I am glad to share that with all of you who are here today, and all who live in our country.“

Princess Ingrid Alexandra wore a Monique Lhuillier gown with Christian Louboutin pumps and a Tod’s bag. It seems she was also wearing her mother’s Cartier ring.

Queen Sonja wore a repeated blue gown with her Whiting & Davis clutch.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore her Erdem gown with her Prada orange pumps (with thanks to Helen) and her Prada clutch.

Princess Märtha Louise wore a fuchsia embellished gown with nude pumps.
