Dutch Royal Family attends 2022 Prinsjesdag

On Tuesday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended Prinsjesdag with Princess Catharina-Amalia, Prince Constantjin, and Princess Laurentien. It is the first time the Princess of Orange attends the event.

During Prinsjesdag, King Willem-Alexander reads the ‘Speech from the Throne’, written jointly by the Ministers and Secretaries of State.

After the ceremony, the Royal Couple, Princess Catharina-Amalia, Prince Constantjin, and Princess Laurentien made a balcony appearance at Noordeinde Palace to greet the crowd.

Queen Maxima wore a new gown by Benchellal (with thanks to ModeKoninginMaxima) with her Christian Dior clutch and Gianvito Rossi pumps.

Princess Catharina-Amalia wore an ASOS gown (with thanks to Rick Evers) with her mother’s Anna Cecere clutch and her mother’s Fabienne Delvigne hat (similar pictured). It’s possible her pumps are by Gianvito Rossi.

Princess Laurentien wore a Hardies Couture gown with an Evelien Gentis headpiece (with thanks to ModeKoningingMaxima).
