King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attend Appeltjes Van Oranje Award Ceremony

On Wednesday, Queen Maxima presented the Appeltjes Van Oranje Awards from the Oranje Fonds at Noordeinde Palace. King Willem-Alexander and Princess Beatrix also attended the ceremony.

This year’s Appeltjes Van Oranje Awards focused on the theme 'Bridge builders in the neighborhood’ and the prizes were awarded to three social initiatives: Vadercentrum Adam, Stichting IK WIL, and De JoJo. The prize consists of a bronze statuette - designed by Princess Beatrix - and a cash prize of 25,000 euros.

Queen Maxima wore her Natan dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Steltman earrings.
